This notice applies to the German and English public pages of skycontainer.at, including visitors in Europe and the United States. It supplements the privacy notice. A cookie is a small piece of information in the browser; similar rules can apply to local storage and other device access.

2. Change your choice

Change your optional choices directly on this page. The footer link leads here without opening a pop-up. Allow or decline Google advertising and our own statistics independently. Without stored permission, optional Google ad scripts do not load. Declining is as easy as allowing. A detected Global Privacy Control signal prevents integration even if permission was previously saved.

If optional advertising scripts have already loaded on the current page, withdrawal reloads it so that those scripts stop running. It applies for the future. This does not retroactively erase all information and third-party cookies already stored by a service; use the browser’s and provider’s deletion/settings tools as needed.

Our own statistics and measurement

Our optional first-party statistics count page views, opened enquiry forms and browser-confirmed submissions by page and channel. They start only after your separate “Allow statistics” choice. Advertising and statistics are independent choices. The statistics register does not store visitor IDs, names, email addresses, phone numbers, message text or complete referrer addresses. Connecting to our server technically processes your IP address, but the statistics register does not store it. We do not send statistics to Meta or Google.

The sc_metrics_v1 choice cookie stores only version, yes/no and timestamp for up to 180 days. After permission, sc_campaign in this tab’s session storage contains only an approved channel and campaign code; withdrawal removes it, otherwise closing the tab ends it. There is no cross-visitor identification. Where the GDPR applies, optional processing relies on Article 6(1)(a). Withdraw your choice through privacy settings. Global Privacy Control keeps statistics off.

The active register holds daily totals for up to 400 days; older days are removed on its next update. Existing backup cycles may retain copies longer. Enquiries accepted by the mail server also count as a daily operational total without contact data, campaign or request identifier. Reconfirming delivery does not count as another enquiry. Page views are not unique visitors; declined statistics, blockers and technical failures limit reporting.

3. Functions and storage

The browser stores our choice as sc_privacy_v1, containing the decision, its time and version, not form contents. If storage is blocked, permission applies only to the current page; the next visit again starts without optional advertising.

Cloudflare protection may use security cookies such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance when needed. We do not represent them as cookies always set by SkyContainer: names and lifetimes depend on the triggered protection feature. Cloudflare documents __cf_bm as expiring after 30 minutes of inactivity. See its cookie documentation.

4. What optional Google advertising means

If you allow Google advertising, Google and participating providers may process connection information, device data, identifiers and ad interactions. Available Google consent and region affect eligible ad types. Limited ads can also use storage for fraud prevention. You can separately use any additional provider and purpose choices offered by Google.

Information may be processed internationally, including in the United States. See the privacy notice for recipients, legal bases and international processing. We do not provide an unverified fixed list of cookie lifetimes for changing advertising creatives. Consult the provider’s specific information and your browser’s storage view.

5. Legal bases and browser controls

Necessary storage/access serves a requested function or necessary security. Optional storage and processing require consent where applicable; under the GDPR, Article 6(1)(a), and for necessary delivery in particular Article 6(1)(f). In Austria, device access is assessed in particular under section 165(3) TKG 2021; other markets have their additional rules. A US operator does not remove European visitors’ rights.

You can also delete or block cookies and site storage in your browser. This may remove a saved choice or cause security protection to require another check. See our privacy notice for access, deletion, complaints and US opt-out options.
