Nori: design and form

Nori is a steel wall shelf with an outline recalling a seagull in flight. Several elements can hold books, plants and personal objects while forming a wall composition.

Images show dark and pale versions, individual shelves and an asymmetrical group. Raffaella Mangiarotti combines a simple storage function with a light, moving gesture on the wall.

Reading the image series

Nori introduces a small wall shelf as a distinct outline. Its wing-like form changes with viewpoint and contrasts with a flat wall. Choose height around objects that should remain reachable. Check the substrate and fixings before turning a decorative idea into a loaded shelf.

What to compare in the images

Curved wall shelves in pale and dark finishes. The complete view explains proportions and spatial effect. Further perspectives reveal how sides, backs or surfaces contribute to the design. Consider which view would frequently be visible in your own space. Another colour or detail remains part of the same product; the gallery brings these views together.

A question for your space

What wall construction and fixing are available? Coordinate shelf numbers and spacing with the objects they will actually hold.

Adapt the selection to everyday life

Storage furniture should begin with the objects it will hold. Books, tableware, media equipment and personal belongings need different compartments and access. Check depth, door and drawer movements and the height of a visible top. Tall furniture can structure a wall; a low unit leaves room for artwork, a mirror or screen. Wall shelves require suitable substrates and fixings; photographs do not establish a load rating. Media furniture also needs coordinated cables, equipment ventilation and screen position. Leave some surfaces deliberately clear. A few objects often reveal the outline and finish better than a crowded top. The gallery helps compare enclosed bodies and open structures. Check internal layout, finish, load limits and fixings for the specific manufacturer version.

Request information about an exact image

If a particular version or view interests you, choose “Enquire now” beside that image. The form includes the maker, product, source page and image reference. Describe your intended use or question; a phone number is optional. You can also open the enquiry in your email app. This keeps the selected living idea clear.
