SKYCONTAINER · SPACE FOR YOUR PLANS
Check fittings, energy and construction clearly
A suitable space needs more than an attractive exterior. These questions help you understand the technical information.
Written inclusions provide clarity
Ask for a list of inclusions. The kitchen, bathroom, finishes, lighting and systems should refer to the specific specification. Terms such as ready to connect or turnkey do not replace an itemised description of included and additional work.
Consider insulation and heating together
Describe when and how you will use the space. Ask for wall, roof and floor build-ups, windows and heating details. A blanket winter-ready claim does not establish which specification you receive or whether it suits your site.
Identify site connections
Clarify power, water and drainage before ordering. Who prepares the connections and who connects the building? Agree responsibilities and services in writing. This separates site work from building fittings.
Self-sufficiency needs specific information
If you want to plan independently of existing utilities, ask for a specific concept. Which systems are proposed, what storage or extra equipment is needed and what use assumptions apply? Without supporting documents, self-sufficiency is an idea rather than an established feature.
Make environmental claims traceable
Ask about materials and evidence behind claimed benefits. A compact layout alone establishes neither particular energy efficiency nor reused components. Ask what supports a sustainability claim for the specific model.
Separate conversion work and your own work
If you want to complete parts yourself, clarify the delivery condition, interfaces and remaining work. Request the necessary documents. A conversion concept in a gallery does not describe an agreed kit or guaranteed self-build solution.
