Vanilla combines a compact desk with a dressing table.
Opinion Ciatti · Raffaella Mangiarotti

Vanilla combines a compact desk with a dressing table. The mirror can become part of its use, while surfaces and storage hold personal belongings.
Supplied images show dark and pale versions, open storage and details of the top and mirror. Raffaella Mangiarotti addresses rooms where several everyday tasks share a limited area.
Vanilla changes its relationship to the room through working surface, storage and mirror. Open and closed views belong in the same comparison. Decide whether the location is for sustained work or alternating tasks. Lighting for a mirror need not come from the same direction as lighting for a writing surface.
Vanilla brings two activities to one surface: focused work and personal preparation at a mirror. Decide which is used most often. A place for a laptop and documents needs different accessible objects from a dressing space. Adaptability is useful when items not currently needed have a clear storage position. An attractive room photograph does not answer that organisational question by itself.
Open and closed views explain the transition better than one isolated image. Notice what remains visible and which surfaces become free. Consider the intended chair and lighting as well. Side daylight may suit work, while lighting at the mirror depends on its actual position. A photograph cannot establish a specific lighting quality.
Pale and dark versions change the visual emphasis. A dark finish creates a clearer outline; a pale surface can relate more closely to the wall. These are visual possibilities rather than different performance promises. Coordinate the finish with the floor, existing furniture and objects that will regularly remain on the top.
In a compact room, space in front matters alongside the tabletop. A chair needs to move and illustrated storage needs to open. Include these movements in a sketch. For an enquiry, select an open version and explain the functions you wish to combine. Current manufacturer documents then clarify dimensions, finish and operation. The series keeps Vanilla together as an Opinion Ciatti design instead of creating a separate product page for every colour. Consider whether work equipment can be put away when the mirror function is used, so the planned change is practical rather than merely visual.

Compact writing and dressing table with an oval mirror. The complete view explains proportions and spatial effect. Further perspectives reveal how sides, backs or surfaces contribute to the design. Consider which view would frequently be visible in your own space. Another colour or detail remains part of the same product; the gallery brings these views together.
Will the surface mainly serve writing or dressing? Plan lighting, mirror position and a suitable seat as connected tasks.

A table is more than its top. The base affects the comfortable placement of chairs, legs and armrests. Draw the table with the intended seats on a scaled floor plan, including space to pull chairs out and walk behind someone seated. For a side table, reachable height beside a sofa or chair matters; grouped tables at different heights can serve several functions. A desk additionally needs suitable working height, lighting, power and a cable solution. A pale veined top differs from a dark plain surface and should be considered alongside the room’s other materials. Screen colours provide only an initial impression. Check samples, edges, care and the precise surface specification before choosing a finish. The gallery helps compare form and spatial effect; definitive specifications come from the manufacturer.
If a particular version or view interests you, choose “Enquire now” beside that image. The form includes the maker, product, source page and image reference. Describe your intended use or question; a phone number is optional. You can also open the enquiry in your email app. This keeps the selected living idea clear.
