Tables & desks.

How to choose a suitable design

A table is more than its top. The base affects the comfortable placement of chairs, legs and armrests. Draw the table with the intended seats on a scaled floor plan, including space to pull chairs out and walk behind someone seated. For a side table, reachable height beside a sofa or chair matters; grouped tables at different heights can serve several functions. A desk additionally needs suitable working height, lighting, power and a cable solution. A pale veined top differs from a dark plain surface and should be considered alongside the room’s other materials. Screen colours provide only an initial impression. Check samples, edges, care and the precise surface specification before choosing a finish. The gallery helps compare form and spatial effect; definitive specifications come from the manufacturer.
